Took this photo of myself earlier today, when I was feeling fresher and younger, still a little make up didn't go a stray, to hide those unslightly wrinkles, lolololol

1 Thessalonians 5:6

So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be alert and self-controlled.

Heavenly Father,

When life is full of love & joy and everything is going our way,
It’s easy to become complacent, relax, sit back,
we forget the tough times as through time they fade away.

We travel along peacefully soaking in the good times, meanwhile letting our guard down,
Life is good now, so we think, until circumstances come along & create a frown.

Suddenly we’re caught off guard, & we have forgotten times of past,
So we drain so quickly, and we find our joy is gone,
It did not last.

We start to panic, try to take control & steer things back,
Only to find it was our sleeping that led us there, because wisdom we did lack.

Our minds become darkened by the clashing of worlds between our head and our heart,
And suddenly we awaken to what is going on & desperately we work hard to fix what fell apart.

Through time I have learnt that this is the best time to be still & leave things be,
Turn to you, learn from the lesson & pray for Jesus to fill my heart, guide my soul, and set me free.

It’s easy to want to hold on, lose control & react in a way unfitting to you,
And that is when we need to awaken instantly, compose ourselves, have self control & listen for your instruction as to what we are to do.

There really is no need to react badly when we are caught asleep,
We just need to remember to call your Name, & listen for when you speak.

Bad times don’t need to bad when we handle them your way,
But rather they are divine experiences, as we humbly come to you and pray.

You are the lover of my soul, the keeper of my heart & the guardian of my well being,
& I give thanks in the tough times when it is through Jesus eyes that my heart is seeing.

I love that you love me, for who I am, no matter what I do,
& because of your divine unconditional healing love,
I am forever being drawn closer to you.

God Bless,
Gina

Proverbs 15:4

The tongue that brings healing is a tree of life,
but a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.

Heavenly Father,

Do you talk & communicate with the trees? That is what I would like to know,
I have always loved the miracle of their life & how they naturally survive & grow.

Trees live in two worlds at once, one is beneath the surface & one is above,
& both worlds play their part in the survival of the tree as it grows with your endless love.

We can’t hear trees talk to you or communicate with each other as they live,
Yet they naturally live in balance & harmony in their worlds & live a life of service to give.

They feed from beneath the surface where they find their nourishment to grow & thrive,
& they take that goodness above the surface to be of use to others & keep them alive.

Trees protect us, provide shelter, keep us warm & are transport for us to get around,
& yet they don’t say a word, want for anything, complain or bicker,
they just live quietly fulfilling their lives, what greater love could be found.

When I look at the tree, I see the life of Jesus working right through,
Everything about the trees life is unconditional & is connected directly to you.

Humans are built just like the trees, needing two worlds to survive,
We need balance & harmony between both worlds, to be able to live, grow & thrive.

The greatest enemy of the tree is poisons used to kill it’s roots & take it’s life,
Humans poison is a deceitful tongue as it crushes the spirit and causes strife.

I can only imagine what life would be like if you silenced all our tongues so that we could not make a sound,
Would we learn to live more like the tree of life, & quietly Be like Jesus? reflecting Heaven all around.

I pray that I always use my tongue wisely or be silent and mum like the tree,
& may deceitful words or a harsh tongue never leave my lips,
so I never crush spirits, but rather help set souls free.

God Bless,
Gina

Proverbs 4:23

Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.

Heavenly Father,

Our hearts are like delicate flowers,
uniquely gifted & sent from Heaven above,
With your Word you breathed life into existence,
& our hearts you filled with your Holy & pure love.

You loved us so much you gave us free will,
so we can choose what we want to do,
We can either follow our physical heart & its lust’s for this world,
or our spiritual heart which is our souls connection to you.

The physical heart comes from our head & leads to destruction,
in a world full of darkness and sin,
Where our spiritual heart brings light, love, salvation & healing,
As Jesus is in control, & Satan has no way to get in.

When we choose to adhere to the physical world,
and give in to the desires of the flesh & lusts of the head,
It leaves us wide open to Satan & his world of darkness,
Leading inevitably to our ruin & demise, as by sin we are being led.

But when we follow your Commandments and adhere to them,
we are choosing to live by your ways,
Where we are taken under your wing, Blessed and protected,
as we live like Jesus through our Earthly days.

I pray that I always guard my heart & protect Jesus,
He’s the purity in our heart, that is within,
And by doing so I am open to receiving your love & life,
An endless flowing spring, that protects us from darkness & sin.

God Bless,
Gina

One Love
by Bob Marley

One love, one heart
Let's get together and feel all right
Hear the children crying (One love)
Hear the children crying (One heart)
Sayin', "Give thanks and praise to the Lord and I will feel all right."
Sayin', "Let's get together and feel all right."
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa

Let them all pass all their dirty remarks (One love)
There is one question I'd really love to ask (One heart)
Is there a place for the hopeless sinner
Who has hurt all mankind just to save his own?
Believe me

One love, one heart
Let's get together and feel all right
As it was in the beginning (One love)
So shall it be in the end (One heart)
Alright, "Give thanks and praise to the Lord and I will feel all right."
"Let's get together and feel all right."
One more thing

Let's get together to fight this Holy Armageddon (One love)
So when the Man comes there will be no, no doom (One song)
Have pity on those whose chances grow thinner
There ain't no hiding place from the Father of Creation

Sayin', "One love, one heart
Let's get together and feel all right."
I'm pleading to mankind (One love)
Oh, Lord (One heart) Whoa.

"Give thanks and praise to the Lord and I will feel all right."
Let's get together and feel all right.
(Repeat)

Jeremiah 15:19

Therefore this is what the LORD says:
"If you repent, I will restore you that you may serve me;
if you utter worthy, not worthless words, you will be my spokesman.

Heavenly Father,

Trees stand tall and firm and they do not speak a word,
Yet your beauty can be seen in them and your voice can be heard.

They live harmoniously in nature fulfilling their life's task,
They do not complain or grieve and in the sun they do bask.

They are exposed to the elements and in storms are blown about,
Some will fall and some will stand firm but nature has it's own way of working it out.

The tall strong trees shelter the smaller ones standing down below,
And they protect them from the elements as they do grow.

They do not see life as unfair or be selfish about what they must do,
They just keep reaching to the sky and year after year grow closer to you.

Please teach me to be as silent as the tree and stand firm in my life,
And not speak harsh words or have a loose tongue when there is strife.

Have me always shelter the young and teach them by being a living example of your ways,
So that when the storms come they will know how to handle themselves throughout their days.

Make my words worthy, meaningful and filled with your love,
And when I do speak may they be words sent to me from you,
on the wings of a white dove.

God Bless,
Gina
