Acts 26:18


To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.


Heavenly Father,


From the time that we are born we learn all sorts of bad habits in how we should behave,
And this draws us from your light as we follow blindly & to bad habits we become a slave.


Through our adulthood we are challenged in correcting our errors by following Jesus & his ways,
And given a second opportunity to see where we went wrong & what caused us to stray.


It takes an open mind, humble heart & the spirit of God to seek correction for what we have done,
And praying for forgiveness for our sins, which is given through the blood of your Holy Son.


To say that I am forgiven because of the blood of the lamb & not repent does not bring us favour,
And it does not lead us any closer to you, & the loving grace of our heavenly saviour.


It is through experience, learning, seeking forgiveness & repenting for our sinful plight,
That we are honouring you, Jesus & the Commandments which guides us from darkness to the light.


When we have faith in you we know & understand that you are leading our souls to be free,
And cleansing us from our sinful ways and teaching us spiritually how we should be.


I pray that I always seek your forgiveness & truly repent for things that I have done,
And learn to follow the path of Jesus of where my inheritance is found following your Holy Son.

Isaiah 26:3


You will keep in perfect peace
him whose mind is steadfast,
because he trusts in you.


Heavenly Father,


We all will face trials and tribulations throughout our life, in our Earthly days,
And they are all opportunities to learn and grow in walking Jesus path and living his way.


Each person's lessons are unique to their life and who they are,
Some have walked with you for many years and are close, and some are still afar.

It is important for us not to judge each other and to help each other with what we are trying to learn,
As it is through our lessons that we become wiser and start to discern.

The stronger we become on our journey and grow in spiritual maturity,
The closer we come to you and cleanse our mind, heart and soul towards purity.

Even though the Commandments are the laws that we are to abide,
It isn't as easy as it sounds, living by these 10 laws on earth where we reside.

The key to everything is to hold strong in our trust and faith in you,
And to read the Bible, kneel to pray and adhere to what you tell us to do.

We will stumble and fall and feel like we are at times walking around in the dark,
But the more we trust in you, the easier it is to walk in perfect peace,
and hear your voice when you hark.

I pray that through all my trials and tribulations I only look unto you,
As you guide me to walk Jesus path which teaches me to become anew.
