Psalm 108:1

My heart is steadfast, O God;
I will sing and make music with all my soul.


Heavenly Father,

When we stay focused and our hearts are unchanging and loyal unto you,
Peace and joy fills us through trials and affliction as we trust you will see us through.

Not always emotionally will we feel good or mentally understand,
But faith guides our hearts as we know we are being led by your Heavenly hand.

It brings about a sense of balance between the good and the bad,
And through discernment we can find peace weighing up where we stand.

Having trust and faith in you through all situations puts our souls at ease,
And shows us new insight into our lives and sustains us until the turbulence cease.

It allows us to be able to cope no matter what situation we find ourselves in,
And even helps us to see clearly where we need to repent and seek forgiveness should we sin.

We can travel peacefully along our path as we don't get stuck in our ways,
And we can hear your voice guiding us when we seek answers when things seem gloomy and grey.

We don't live in fear as we consciously are aware that this too shall pass,
And we co-operate with you and your Will and in your Glory we do bask.

I pray that I always follow your lead and adhere to your word through faith,
And sing songs of praise from my heart and soul for your amazing grace.
